Most CBD Oil tinctures are made by extracting CBD from hemp flowers with either ethanol alcohol or cold carbon dioxide. The solvent (alcohol or carbon dioxide) is boiled off and you’re left with a potent CBD concentrate that looks like molasses.
Because CBD is fat-soluble, we combine this CBD concentrate with an oil carrier like hemp oil or MCT (medium chain triglyceride) oil.
The result is a mild-tasting CBD-rich oil that can be precisely dosed according to each unique user’s needs.
How Do You Use CBD Oil Tinctures?
CBD can affect people differently based on various conditions unique to that individual. Taking your CBD oil tincture is as easy as filling your dropper with oil and placing some under your tongue.
If you’re new to CBD oil tinctures, start with a 25mg dose in the evening. Using your product’s label, determine how much oil will contain 25mg of CBD, fill the dropper accordingly, and dispense the oil under your tongue. Hold for 20 seconds and swallow.
You can also add your CBD oil to any of your favorite foods or drinks. Many users like to add their dose to their morning coffee or nighttime sleepytime tea for added relaxation.
If after a week’s time a 25mg dose does not have the desired effect, try increasing your dosage by 5mg until you experience your desired effects.
If you feel funny or off, continuously lower your dosage by 5mg until you feel comfortable. If you feel downright bad, stop your CBD regimen and consult a health professional.

Mentally, you may expect to feel:
Less socially anxious

How To Store Your CBD Oil Tincture
To maintain freshness, keep your CBD oil tinctures in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. A medicine cabinet or kitchen cupboard is an ideal place for your CBD oil tincture.
Excessive heat and exposure to UV light can degrade the CBD in your tincture and lower its overall potency. Refrigeration is not recommended for bottles currently in use. When properly stored, your CBD oil tincture will maintain its potency for up to 18 months.

CBD Oil Tincture Frequently Asked Questions
Is Hemp Oil The Same As CBD Oil?
Hemp oil is not the same as CBD oil. Hemp oil, sometimes called hemp seed oil is cold-pressed cooking oil and does not contain CBD.
Full-spectrum CBD oil tinctures, like the kind Sunset Lake CBD sells, can show up on a drug test. That’s because they do contain a trace amount of THC, the cannabinoid that drug tests are actively looking for.
This tincture + organic tea = heaven
I've never had tea feel and taste so good. I hope other flavors come out but I absolutely love the citrus flavor. So, the effects are so positive for me. It's just a better me in every way possible. My friends can sense my lack of stress, worry, and depression; I feel more confident, focused, and relaxed. There's nothing else like it. I will subscribe. And, I appreciate the personalized messages I get inside my order.
After trying it for 3 months I started a monthly subscription
Started using this CBD oil three months ago because someone recommended it for back pain. What I'm really grateful for is that I'm enjoying good sleep again and waking up rested, something I hadn't experienced for years before starting the CBD oil. The days are just so much more enjoyable now that I'm getting good sleep. I went ahead and started a monthly subscription. I like the natural flavor, which tastes like what I imagine nettle tea tastes like. It seemed unusual at first, but now seems perfectly natural.
I love this bottle of magic and I love this company
The 1500mg is the perfect dose for me to help me sleep more soundly. I’m a super light sleeper, and tend to wake up multiple times during the night. A dropper full seems to help me sleep more soundly through the night. Sunset Lake is the only place I’ll get my CBD, and I really appreciate that they support progressive causes. WIN WIN.
