CBD Blunts

Our CBD Blunts come in packs of three 1-gram pre-rolled blunts. Each blunt is packed with a proprietary mix of hemp flower and CBD kief to give each blunt an extra-relaxing kick. Each blunt contains roughly 200 mg of CBD.

Our CBD Blunts can be purchased in larger quantities— cases of five packs, ten packs, and as part of our pre-rolled flights so that you can try them along with our other CBD Pre Rolls.

What Are CBD Blunts?

A blunt is a roll of hemp flower or cannabis in general inside a cigar or blunt wrap. These wraps are typically made out of tobacco, which adds a buzz to your smoking experience. Typically blunts are larger than pre-rolls and last longer.

Sunset Lake CBD’s pre-rolled CBD Blunts are not made with tobacco wraps. Instead, we stay true to our roots (literally) and use a slow-burning pressed hemp wrap.

What’s the Difference Between Blunts and Joints?

The main differences between blunts and joints are:

• Wrap – Blunts are generally rolled with tobacco wraps, cigar/cigarillo shells, or flavored blunt wraps. Joints are generally rolled with rice- or hemp-paper rolling papers.
• Size – Blunt wraps are generally larger than joint rolling papers and as a result blunts usually end up containing more cannabis or hemp than joints.

Sunset Lake CBD’s CBD Blunts are no different. Our CBD Blunts are larger at 1 gram a piece than our CBD Pre Rolls at 0.5-0.6 grams each.

We also use raw pre-rolled cones for our CBD Pre Rolls and larger, 1-gram capacity pressed hemp wraps for our CBD Blunts.

How We Make Our CBD Blunts

Making our CBD Blunts starts with the hemp wrap cones. These pre-rolled blunt wraps are sturdy, burn slowly, and are free of nasty additives.

We fill our CBD Blunts with a proprietary mix of ground-up CBD flower and strain-specific CBD kief. Kief is a solventless hemp concentrate guaranteed to add to any smoking experience. Read more about it here.

Each batch is hand mixed to ensure consistency and correct moisture levels for a perfect smoking session.

CBD Blunt Machine

To ensure that every CBD Blunt is packed and filled evenly, Sunset Lake CBD uses a pre-rolled blunt machine that utilizes a custom-made tray for our hemp wraps. When we pull the CBD Blunts from their tray, we check the fill, steam the tips, fold the ends, and package them.

How To Smoke a CBD Blunt

Smoking pre-rolled CBD Blunts is one of the easiest methods of consuming CBD. Pull one of the blunts from the pack and place the crutch (the cardboard filter) between your lips.

With the crutch secured between your lips, light the other end with a match or a lighter and pull, either by inhaling or sucking the crutch as if it were a straw. Once lit, wave out any active flame and inhale from the crutch. Keep doing so until you’re satisfied with your dose of CBD, or your blunt is at its end.

Do CBD Blunts Smell?

Smoking Sunset Lake CBD’s pre-rolled CBD Blunts will smell similar to burning traditional cannabis. If you’re going to be around someone who is sensitive to the smell of burning cannabis, it’s best to take a walk outside while actively smoking.

Will CBD Blunts Get You High?

Smoking our pre-rolled CBD Blunts will not make you feel “high” or intoxicated.

To be considered hemp and not marijuana, smokable hemp must contain less than 0.3% THC by dry weight. Instead of feeling “high” as you might with traditional marijuana, you might feel much more relaxed or chilled out due to the CBD.

How Long Do CBD Blunts Last?

Sunset Lake CBD’s pre-rolled CBD Blunts will stay fresh anywhere from 2 to 12 months. It depends on how they’re packaged and stored. If you want to keep your CBD Blunts good for longer, consider putting them in an airtight container with either a humidity pack or orange peel, and storing them in a cool place out of direct sunlight.

In Sunset Lake CBD’s mylar packaging, your CBD Blunts should stay fresh for up to six months, provided you keep the packaging sealed.
