Return & Refund Policy

Thanks for supporting our farm! If you aren’t entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • Unused and in the same condition that you received it in. 
  • In the original packaging. 
  • Accompanied with an order confirmation email or proof of purchase. 
    • This can be an order number or information from your tracking email

To return an item for a refund, you must also return said item within 30 calendar days from the date that it is marked delivered by the package carrier. 

Shipping Back Your Sunset Lake CBD Item

You are responsible for paying for any postage required to send back your Sunset Lake CBD item. Please address your return to:

If you’ve ordered via Priority Mail, you may return your unopened package by writing “Return to Sender” and delivering it back to your local post office for no extra charge.

To refund your Sunset Lake CBD order, we must receive said order within 30 calendar days from its delivery to your door or mailbox. 

Once we receive that item back in our mailbox, we will notify you that we have received and reprocessed your returned item. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card, less the cost of shipping. OR, we can credit you the full amount as store credit for a future purchase. 

If you choose the former, you should receive the credit back to your card within seven business days. This time may vary depending on your card issuer’s policies. 

If your Sunset Lake CBD item is defective or damaged upon arrival, please reach out to us via our contact form here, or email us at admin@sunsetlakecbd.com with an order number, a brief description of the problem, and any images that may help us determine the source of damage and we place a new item in the mail for you or process a refund, whichever you prefer.

 If any packages are returned to our P.O. box for any reason we will attempt to contact you twice to reship your package. These attempts may be made to the billing email address or the phone number that you provided Sunset Lake CBD during the checkout process. 

You have fourteen (14) calendar days to respond with the information requested. If you wish to have your order re-shipped to you, you will be responsible for paying additional shipping charges. 

If you do not respond to us in a timely manner we reserve the right to issue you a store credit in the amount of the returned product(s) less the price Sunset Lake CBD paid for shipping.

If you have any questions regarding our return or refund policies or would like to initiate the process, please reach out to us via this contact form here, or reach out to us directly at admin@sunsetlakecbd.com with the subject line: “Order #(Your order number) Return”

If your Sunset Lake CBD product arrives having sustained damage during shipping— this can include breakages, leakage, or melted edible products, you are eligible for a refund. 

Alternatively, we would be happy to send you a replacement item free of charge (and shipping!) All we ask for is a photo of the damage so we can catalog the issue and file a claim with the USPS. We want you to be thrilled with our service and our products after all.

Per our shipping policy, you are responsible for entering and double-checking shipping information before we process and ship out orders in the morning (before 10 ᴬᴹ EST/EDT, Monday – Friday.) 

If your package is returned to us by USPS, we will ship it out again provided that you pay for the extra shipping charge. If your order is marked as delivered to the incorrect address, there is little we can do to retrieve your order.

If you aren’t satisfied with your Sunset Lake CBD order, we want to help! Unfortunately, you won’t be eligible for a refund, but we may be able to recommend products that may better suit your needs. We may even be able to apply a store credit towards your purchase of the new item.

We apologize for the delay. Because we use a secure third-party company (Square) to process your card information, it may take up to seven business days for your refund to be credited back to your account. 

That’s because we communicate the refund to Square, who then communicates with your bank. We appreciate your understanding and patience in the meantime.

If your subscription has been processed and we’ve shipped it to you, we need you to return the package unopened in order to process a refund less the cost of shipping. 

If your subscription is still processing and has not left our facility, please call us so that we may cancel the order and process a refund right away.

Mistakes happen and we try our best to minimize and correct them! If you’ve been sent the wrong item, please contact us with your order number and any relevant information and we will work with you on a case-by-case basis.

If any of your items arrived broken or damaged, please contact us here. Include your order number, photos of the damaged products (if possible), and please confirm your shipping address so that we may take steps to get your replacement in the mail as soon as possible.
