How To Use

Using Your CBD Oil Tincture
If you’re new to this product or CBD in general, we recommend starting with 0.5mL. That translates to one-half of a dropper of oil. When you know how your body reacts to this dose, please adjust your dosage as needed.
If you find it difficult to wake up in the morning, consider taking less oil before bed. Or, if you find that 0.5 mL isn’t providing you with your desired effects, please increase your dose. We recommend moving your dose up and down slowly in 0.25 mL increments until you find something that works for you.
You can ingest this 1200mg Full Spectrum CBD Oil + Melatonin in one of two ways.
Fast: Est. time to effect: 20-30 minutes
Fill the dropper to your desired dosage and dispense the oil under your tongue. Let your tongue rest on top of the oil and count to 20. Swallow the oil at the end of the count.
Gradual: Est. time to effect: 60-90 minutes
Fill the dropper to your desired dosage and dispense the oil into a nighttime drink. We recommend adding this mint-flavored oil to a cup of sleepytime tea. Drink your beverage as you would normally.
Using Your CBD Recovery Body Lotion
Sunset Lake’s CBD Recovery Body Lotion is intended for topical use only. Please do not apply to your eyes, any orifice, or open wounds.
You can use this lotion in the same way and at the same frequency as you would use a non-infused lotion.
After you apply the CBD Recovery Body Lotion to an affected area, you should start to feel the effects in just a few minutes. The onset time, unlike other CBD products, isn’t affected by many other factors.

Will I fail a drug test after taking this product?
All of Sunset Lake CBD’s CBD Oil products are crafted with full-spectrum CBD extracts, which means that the extract contains trace amounts of THC. While the amounts comply with USDA rules, we recommend exercising caution if you are subject to drug testing. Even trace amounts of THC can trigger a positive result on workplace drug tests.

Does CBD lotion show up on a drug test?
Sunset Lake CBD’s Recovery Body Lotion does not show up in a drug test for two reasons.
- We formulate our lotion with CBD isolate, which contains no THC whatsoever.
- CBD topicals don’t generally show up on drug tests because the cannabinoids inside never make it into your bloodstream. Your skin is an excellent barrier.
Is this product legal in my state?
Please check your local and state laws for any specific restrictions.
It is legal for us to sell, process, and ship our CBD oil products from Vermont because they comply with the federal 0.3% delta-9 THC and Vermont’s total THC limits, respectively.
Can you take CBD lotion on a plane?
You can take CBD Lotion on a plane, provided that it’s the proper size.
Sunset Lake CBD’s CBD Recovery Body Lotions are too large and not allowed because of the TSA’s 3.7-ounce fluid limit.
But if you don’t want to miss out on the soothing benefits of CBD Lotion, you can always have it shipped to your destination in the U.S.
Can I travel with CBD oil?
You can travel with this product domestically within the U.S. The bottle is below the TSA’s 3.7 fluid-ounce limit. However, we recommend keeping the original packaging and the test results (certificates of analysis sent with every order) in case of any questions from authorities.
