Description
If you’re looking for an eyelid-relaxing, heavy-hitting, slow-burning CBD blunt then you’ve found it in Sunset Lake CBD’s Kief blunt. Each Kief Blunt is made with all-natural pressed hemp paper and packed with a proprietary mix of our premium sun-grown hemp flower and dry-sifted hemp kief concentrate. Each blunt contains roughly 180mg of CBD!
In an attempt to reduce the amount of plastic we use in our packaging, we’ve housed each three-pack of Kief Blunts in double-walled cardboard tubes complete with a moisture pack to ensure quality and taste. We wrap each tube with a perforated label to make opening a breeze.
Suggested Use:
Lighting one of Sunset Lake CBD’s Kief Blunts will take a bit longer than a regular Preroll. Because the paper is made with pressed hemp, you will want to hold the ‘crown’ (folded over end) over a flame without inhaling for at least 30 seconds, taking care to turn the crown to achieve an equal burn.
Once the end of the Kief Blunt is glowing red and stays lit without the aid of the flame, put the mouthpiece (the end with the white rolled insert) into your mouth and draw smoke slowly. It may be harder to pull at first and may need an additional flame for the first few pulls.
You’ll want to smoke it slower than you would a regular Preroll. Because the material inside is finer and more compact, it will burn slower than the hemp wrap. Be patient with your blunt— it should burn more evenly and you’ll get even more CBD out of it!
Keep smoking until you’re satisfied with your CBD dose, or your blunt is at its end. Please compost or dispose of your crutch responsibly.
Also Featuring Kief Blunts:
You can also find these amazing Kief Blunts featured in the Heavy Hitters Preroll Flight and the Full CBD Preroll Flight.
Storage Directions
To maintain your Kief Blunt’s freshness, keep them inside their cardboard packaging with the moisture pack inside and the top securely attached. Store the cardboard tube in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
When properly stored, your Kief Blunts should retain their potency and freshness for six months after the purchase date.

Frequently asked CBD Questions
CBD, short for cannabidiol, is a naturally occurring chemical compound produced by mature hemp and cannabis plants. It is one of the 100+ cannabinoids that have, as of now, been identified in Cannabis Sativa plants. Unlike tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the compound responsible for the psychoactive effects of marijuana, CBD is non-intoxicating. This means that consuming CBD does not result in the “high” typically associated with cannabis use.

CBD interacts with our body’s endocannabinoid system— a biological network composed of cannabinoid receptors and signalers— to help the body maintain overall health and homeostasis.
The endocannabinoid system plays a role in many bodily functions including,
- Sleep
- Mood
- Stress
- Metabolism and appetite
- Memory and our ability to retain new information
CBD is known as a phytocannabinoid, phyto- meaning ‘of the plant’ and mimics our body’s endocannabinoids, endo- meaning internal, that our bodies naturally produce. Some believe that consuming phytocannabinoids like CBD can help a user’s endocannabinoid system run more efficiently.
CBD is an abbreviation for cannabidiol (Canna-Bi-Diol.) Emphasis ours.
CBD by itself does not show up on a standard workplace drug test. That’s not to say that CBD products won’t show up on a drug test. For more on this subject, check out our blog post on the subject.
CBD is well tolerated by most, but using CBD can cause some unwanted side effects. Some of the most common include:
- Change in appetite
- Diarrhea
- Nausea
- Dizziness
- Upset Stomach
CBD isn’t shown to have any dependence issues, meaning that you will not get addicted to CBD if you begin to use it. The World Health Organization has stated that “…in humans, CBD exhibits no effects indicative of any abuse or dependence potential…”
CBD is non-psychoactive and will not make users feel intoxicated. In other words, CBD will not get you “high.”
