CBD Gummies FAQ

CBD gummies are simply gummy candy that we’ve infused with CBD, an active cannabinoid that we’ve extracted from the hemp plant.  They are a tasty, discreet, and convenient way to enjoy the benefits of CBD, without the earthy flavor commonly associated with hemp oil.

You should know the two main types of CBD gummies before you buy:

  • Full-Spectrum CBD Gummies – These are gummies that have been infused with a full-spectrum CBD extract, meaning that they contain trace amounts of THC. You should not feel intoxicated if you use these gummies as directed, but they can still lead to a failed drug test if you are not cautious.
    • Includes: Full-Spectrum Vibe Gummies, Goodnight Gummies, & Delta-9 THC Gummies
  • Isolate & Broad-Spectrum CBD Gummies – These are gummies that have been infused with CBD extracts that have had all trace amounts of THC removed. You will not feel intoxicated or risk a failed drug test if you stick to these gummies.
    • Includes: Sour Bear CBD Gummies, Functional Mushroom Gummies, Sleep Gummies + CBN & Melatonin

CBD gummies work by delivering CBD into your bloodstream via your digestive system. Once you eat your gummy, the CBD inside will enter your bloodstream through the walls of your small intestine. From there, the CBD will disperse through your body and interact with your body’s endocannabinoid system— a network that connects all of your major organs and helps regulate your mood, appetite, stress response, and sleep patterns.

Many people use CBD gummies to experience the benefits of CBD in a convenient and tasty way. While your experience may vary, gummies are a popular choice because they can:

  • Help improve focus
  • Sooth minor aches and pains
  • Improve the quality of your sleep
  • Allow you to unwind and relax fully
  • Better manage your stress

Some CBD gummy formulations are more effective than others in addressing specific issues. For example, we suggest checking out the Sleep Gummies or Goodnight Gummies for sleep issues, rather than for improving focus.

Because CBD gummies are edibles, you must first digest them before you start to experience any benefits. This onset can take anywhere between 30 minutes and 2 hours, depending on factors like your metabolism, body size, and whether or not you ate before taking the gummy.

Please be patient with your CBD gummies. Don’t stack your doses! After you’ve eaten your preferred number of gummies, wait at least one hour and evaluate how you feel before eating more.

The effects of edible CBD generally last between 4 and 8 hours. Depending on the size of your dose, your experience may exceed 8 hours.

Your body won’t fully metabolize and expel CBD for roughly 3-5 days.

If you frequently use CBD or cannabis products, CBD (and other cannabinoids) may stay in your body longer.

If you are either trying a new gummy or new to CBD in general, we recommend starting with one gummy.

Stick with this one gummy at a time dose for at least two weeks and notice how you feel mentally, physically, and emotionally. After this two-week acclimation period, please adjust your dose as needed.

While CBD is generally considered a safe and natural product for humans, it can give users some unwanted side effects. They include: 

  • Nausea
  • Appetite changes
  • Dry mouth 
  • Dizziness 
  • And more… 

If you experience any of the above side effects, you may want to consider lowering your dose or stopping altogether.

Most workplace drug tests that you will run into test for THC, not CBD. If you are consuming CBD Isolate or broad-spectrum gummies, your product should not cause you to fail a drug test.

Full-spectrum CBD gummies, however, can cause you to fail a drug test. They contain trace amounts of THC that can show up on a workplace screening.

If you are working in a sensitive position and subject to CBD testing, we recommend avoiding all CBD gummies and products in general.
