Hemp flower is not legally the same as marijuana. While both are flowers cultivated from cannabis plants, hemp flower comes from hemp plants (that contain less than 0.3% THC by dry weight.) “Weed” is flower cultivated from cannabis plants that contain more than 0.3% delta-9 THC by dry weight.

No, Sunset Lake CBD’s smokable CBD hemp flower should not make you feel high or intoxicated. Generally, the total THC present in our hemp flower will help you feel more relaxed rather than intoxicated.

If you are particularly sensitive to THC, you may notice more subtle effects, especially if you combine this product with other substances.

Sunset Lake CBD’s smokables are CBD hemp flower, not a THCA flower.

While our CBD hemp flower contains a trace amount of THC and THCA, the amount is too small to produce the intoxicating effects commonly associated with THC products.

THCA flower, on the other hand, is essentially just marijuana and will make you feel intoxicated after consumption. Because Vermont has instituted a total THC rule on top of the USDA’s delta-9 THC limit, we are not allowed to sell and ship THCA flower.

 

Sunset Lake CBD’s hemp flower contains trace amounts of THC.  While these amounts comply with USDA rules, we recommend caution if you are subject to drug testing. Even trace amounts of THC can trigger a positive result on workplace drug tests.

Yes, as a cannabis flower product, smokable hemp flower does smell identical to marijuana. If you are concerned about shipping, storage, and consumption, please note that this product in regard to aroma is identical to marijuana.
