Suggested Use

This CBD Coffee is shipped as a whole-bean product. We do recommend having or getting a coffee grinder prior to purchase.

We recommend grinding 12 grams of CBD Coffee beans (per desired cup) with an electric coffee grinder set to a drip or percolator grind. A more coarse grind will work better with the suggested brewing methods.

For an optimal brew, we would recommend using any brewing method with a metal mesh coffee filter. The folks in the Sunset Lake CBD office prefer a French press, but there are drip machines and single-cup reusable pods that utilize metal mesh screens. Paper or cloth filters may filter out some CBD during the brewing process.

Schedule

Have a fresh cup of CBD coffee in place of your normal morning cup. CBD won’t counteract the caffeine in any noticeable way, except help curb any unwanted jitters. Oh, and did we mention this coffee tastes amazing? This product contains as much caffeine as a normal cup of dark-roasted coffee.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions About CBD Coffee

What Is CBD Coffee?

CBD coffee is coffee, either whole-bean or ground, that’s infused with CBD extract and can be made in any number of ways.

At Sunset Lake CBD, we infuse full-spectrum CBD extract into whole-bean coffee so that you reap the benefits of edible CBD and get to enjoy freshly ground coffee.

Can You Pre-Grind My CBD Coffee?

Unfortunately at this time, we cannot grind your coffee beans prior to shipment. We are currently looking into providing a pre-ground coffee product in the future.

How Do You Make CBD Coffee?

There are two ways to make CBD coffee. If you’re making it yourself at home with regular coffee and CBD oil, you can add CBD oil to your cup of coffee. This will result in small ‘oil slicks’ sitting on top of your coffee though.

With Sunset Lake CBD’s Farmer’s Roast, brew your coffee as you normally would. We recommend using metal filters if you can as paper filters can catch some of the CBD. Each 8oz. cup of Farmer’s Roast you brew should contain around 24mg of full-spectrum CBD with none of the ‘oil slicks.’

What Are The Benefits of CBD Coffee?

CBD Coffee is a great balancing act in a cup. Caffeine is a great stimulant and can help us wake up in the morning (for many of us, it’s a must.) Too much caffeine can make you jittery though. CBD, on the other hand, can have calming effects. We find that together, CBD and caffeine can give you the energy that you need in the morning without those pesky jitters.

Does CBD Coffee Make You Sleepy?

CBD Coffee does not make you sleepy. In fact, quite the opposite. Drinking CBD Coffee contains more caffeine than it does CBD and will give you the boost in energy that you need.

Is There THC In CBD Coffee?

We infuse our CBD Coffee with full-spectrum CBD meaning that there are small trace amounts of THC present in the beans.

Can You Reheat CBD Coffee?

If you’re one to sip on your morning cup for an hour or more, your CBD coffee may end up getting a bit chilly. Unfortunately, we don’t recommend reheating your CBD coffee as the microwave may end up damaging the CBD inside and you’ll lose out on potency.
