We roast our Farmer’s Roast CBD Coffee with our neighbor, Good Luck Coffee Roasters, right here in upstate Vermont. We exclusively roast with Rainforest Alliance Certified premium coffee beans so that you can be sure that the coffee and hemp extract in every cup is produced with dignity.

How To Use:
When you receive your bag of CBD Coffee in the mail, please check your bag for damage. If there is an issue with the bag’s heat seal, please contact us using the information on your packing slip.
We recommend starting with 12 grams of CBD coffee beans per cup, which should give you a 25mg dose of full-spectrum CBD.
Grind your desired amount of beans with an electric coffee grinder set to drip or percolator grind, if available. A coarser grind will work better with our suggested brewing methods.
For the best brew, we recommend using any method that utilizes a metal mesh filter. The team here at Sunset Lake prefers a French press, but you may also use a drip machine if it uses a metal mesh screen. We find that paper or cloth filters can filter some of the CBD during the brewing process.
Our Recommendation:
Have a fresh cup of Farmer’s Roast in place of your normal cup. The cannabinoids inside won’t interfere with the caffeine in any noticeable way. You may notice that CBD may actually help if you are a person who gets coffee jitters.
For new users: Drink CBD coffee on the weekend. This is especially true if you’re new to CBD products in general. When you know how your body reacts, adjust your dose and schedule accordingly.
For experienced users: If you are looking for an extra dose of relaxation with your coffee, add some of our full-spectrum CBD oil. We recommend Sunset Lake CBD’s natural, unflavored oil.

What Are Rainforest Alliance Certified Mean?
Rainforest Alliance Certified coffee beans come from farms that put climate, forest health, human rights, and workers’ rights front and center— a few core tenets that we care about deeply here at Sunset Lake CBD.
What Is CBD Coffee?
CBD coffee is coffee, either whole-bean or pre-ground, infused with hemp extract. At Sunset Lake, we infuse premium dark-roast coffee beans with full-spectrum hemp extract.
Many companies make their coffee with CBD isolate because it’s easier to work with in a food setting. We think you get the best results from CBD by using full-spectrum hemp extract, so we use a special method to infuse whole beans.
Can You Pregrind My Coffee?
At this time, we cannot pre-grind your coffee beans prior to shipment. We are currently looking into providing a pre-ground coffee product in the future.
How Do You Make CBD Coffee?
You can make CBD Coffee one of two ways. If you’re making it yourself at home with regular coffee and CBD oil, you can add CBD oil to your cup of coffee. This will result in small ‘oil slicks’ sitting on top of your coffee though.
With Sunset Lake CBD’s Farmer’s Roast, brew your coffee as you normally would. We recommend using metal filters if you can, as paper filters can catch some of the CBD. Each 8oz. cup of Farmer’s Roast you brew should contain around 24mg of full-spectrum CBD with none of the ‘oil slicks.’
What Are The Benefits of CBD Coffee?
Sunset Lake’s CBD Coffee is a great balancing act in a cup. Caffeine is a great stimulant and can help us wake up in the morning. Too much caffeine can make us jittery, though.
CBD, on the other hand, can have calming effects. Together, CBD and caffeine can give you the energy that you need in the morning without those unwanted jitters.
Is There THC In CBD Coffee?
We infuse our CBD Coffee with full-spectrum CBD, which means that the beans contain small trace amounts of THC.
Can You Reheat CBD Coffee?
If you’re one to sip on your morning cup for an hour or more, your CBD coffee may end up getting a bit chilly. Unfortunately, we can’t recommend reheating your CBD coffee. The microwave may end up damaging the CBD inside, and you’ll lose out on potency.
