Description

Fan favorite Lifter Kief is back for another year. This year’s yield tests in at a very potent 20.3% total CBD a good reflection of the most potent flower in our lineup this year: Lifter Hemp Flower.

If you’re looking to add a little extra relief to your smokable CBD flower, or to mellow out your other smokables, look no further than this solventless dry-sift concentrate. Kief is a collection of all-natural CBD-rich trichome heads that grow on hemp flower during flowering. We separate this kief from Hawaiian Haze trim using a 125µm (micron) screen tumbler.

All of Sunset Lake CBD’s smokable products are:

  • Pesticide-free
  • Full-spectrum
  • Single-origin
  • Sun-grown

Suggested Use:

To use Lifter Kief, scoop some from the jar and add it to your bowls or joints. If you’re smoking your hemp flower from a bowl, sprinkle kief on top and smoke it normally. If you’re rolling hemp flower into a joint, try to incorporate it into your flower the best that you can as it tends to burn at a different rate than hemp flower.

Add kief to your smoking experience when you’re in need of a little extra relaxation. Because kief is denser than traditional hemp flower, a little bit goes a long way.

Frequently asked CBD Questions

CBD, short for cannabidiol, is a naturally occurring chemical compound produced by mature hemp and cannabis plants. It is one of the 100+ cannabinoids that have, as of now, been identified in Cannabis Sativa plants. Unlike tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the compound responsible for the psychoactive effects of marijuana, CBD is non-intoxicating. This means that consuming CBD does not result in the “high” typically associated with cannabis use.

CBD interacts with our body’s endocannabinoid system— a biological network composed of cannabinoid receptors and signalers— to help the body maintain overall health and homeostasis.

The endocannabinoid system plays a role in many bodily functions including,

  • Sleep
  • Mood
  • Stress
  • Metabolism and appetite
  • Memory and our ability to retain new information

CBD is known as a phytocannabinoid, phyto- meaning ‘of the plant’ and mimics our body’s endocannabinoids, endo- meaning internal, that our bodies naturally produce. Some believe that consuming phytocannabinoids like CBD can help a user’s endocannabinoid system run more efficiently.

CBD is an abbreviation for cannabidiol (Canna-Bi-Diol.) Emphasis ours.

CBD by itself does not show up on a standard workplace drug test. That’s not to say that CBD products won’t show up on a drug test. For more on this subject, check out our blog post on the subject.

CBD is well tolerated by most, but using CBD can cause some unwanted side effects. Some of the most common include:

  • Change in appetite
  • Diarrhea
  • Nausea
  • Dizziness
  • Upset Stomach

CBD isn’t shown to have any dependence issues, meaning that you will not get addicted to CBD if you begin to use it. The World Health Organization has stated that “…in humans, CBD exhibits no effects indicative of any abuse or dependence potential…”

CBD is non-psychoactive and will not make users feel intoxicated. In other words, CBD will not get you “high.”
