Many companies make their coffee with CBD isolate because it’s easier to work within a food setting. We think you get the best results by using a full-spectrum hemp extract, so we use a unique method to infuse whole beans during the roasting process.
Yes, you can put CBD in your coffee. The combination may seem a bit counterintuitive at first, but you may just end up loving the end result.
While coffee contains caffeine, a stimulate, CBD on the other hand is generally though to support rest and relaxation. When combined, CBD can counteract some of coffee’s unwanted side effects like jitters and that “wired” feeling while still retaining your coffee’s energy boost.
You can make CBD Coffee the same ways that you make your standard coffee. Note that because Sunset Lake CBD’s coffee products are whole beans, you’ll need access to a coffee grinder.
We recommend brewing this coffee with metal filtered devices. Drip coffee machines and pour overs that use paper or cloth filters, we find, can catch some of the infused CBD and lead to a less potent cup of coffee.
That’s the brilliant part about Sunset Lake’s Farmer’s Roast. Each 12g serving of CBD-infused coffee beans will contain 24mg of CBD when brewed. You don’t need to add your own CBD.
However, if you want a more ‘potent’ cup of coffee, you can absolutely add additional CBD. We recommend using one of our unflavored CBD oil tinctures.
